Lloyd Brown is the President of Nuclear Services Partnership and a Program Manager at Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. He has over 45 years leadership experience in nuclear and conventional facilities operations, and diverse technical management functions for large, highly complex nuclear test facilities within the Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratory system, and the commercial nuclear power and medical isotopes industry.
Formerly, Mr. Brown was Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Advanced Nuclear Research Facilities Development at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) and received a Secretary of Energy Honor Award for the successful restart of the Transient Reactor Test (TREAT) Facility, a 20,000-megawatt Category B nuclear test reactor. He has performed as the project manager on large projects such as a commercial radioisotope production facility design-bid-build in the $500M range and as lead project manager/COO on the $5B DOE Versatile Test Reactor Project. Mr. Brown directed the INL Performance Oversight Office and has conducted or participated in over 200 performance and readiness assessments at DOE and commercial nuclear facilities. Mr. Brown earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering with a focus on materials engineering and stress analysis. He maintains a Registered Professional Engineering license and is certified by Stanford University as a Project Management Professional, Strategic Risk and Decision Analysis Professional, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Professional.
